Online Course: HISTORY OF LITOGRAPHY

DESCRIPTION:
The course will focus on the history of printmaking with an explanation of lithography.The evolution of litography from an assistant technique, book ilustration to an autonomic field of art.The course will provide knowledge of lithography in the context of printmaking drawing and painting in culture. The various technical aspects of lithography, preparation of the drawing, the matrix and the printing process will be discussed. Analysis of lithography on the chosen artists’ works. After my course students will gain knowledge about graphic art in general and deep knowledge about lithography and preparation of lithographic stone and prints and will be able to transfer their knowledge into artistic practice.

1 time a week, duration 2 months

THE COURSE WILL START:
- 15th of December;
- 15th of February;
- 15th of April.
Upon completion of this course, the student will receive a certificate. This course will be continued. It will be possible to obtain a certificate of skills.
